This has consistently been one of Calgary's best auctions with original works contributed by many local artists. Guests will enjoy a served gourmet dinner. Bidding on silent auction items will commence during the cocktail hour the beginning of the evening. The live auction will follow dinner. One of the highlights of the evening is always a balloon burst. Balloons will be available for purchase at $10 per. Don't let them get away from you! Look inside your balloon for a lucky ticket, which can be redeemed for a prize. For first-time attendees, remember to register at first of evening to receive a bid number. When bidding on silent or live auctions, you must use this bid number. We are very grateful for the support we have received over the last eight years. During this time, the auction has benefited various Calgary organizations in the amount of almost $400,000! The major beneficiaries have included Community Kitchens, YWCA Mary Dover House, Salvation Army Children's Village, Closer to Home/Success by Two, Rotary Challenger Park, and Rosedale Hospice. Full details and website links for the charities are on our What We Do page. Special thanks to David Parker whose "Around Town" column in the Calgary Herald has been promoting the art auction for many years now. We look forward to seeing all of you again this year! |
